| Thank you for participating in the Taylor County Vision 2060 process!!
On January 17, 2008, the Taylor County Vision 2060 Task Force unanimously approved the Shared Vision Plan for transmittal to the Board of County Commissioners. On February 7, 2008, the Taylor County Planning Board unanimously recommended approval of the Shared Vision Plan to the Board of County Commissioners on February 19. The Board of County Commissioners will consider adoption of the Shared Vision Plan as a component of the Taylor County Comprehensive Plan, pursuant to Section 163.3167(11), Florida Statutes, in a future public hearing (date to be determined). Adoption of the Shared Vision Plan does not change or amend the existing Future Land Use Map (FLUM) or any specific Element of the Taylor County Comprehensive Plan, but provides the framework for evaluating future land use and development pattern related decisions.
